TigerTel’s Sales Approach

Sales can be a tricky business. Your approach has to be catered to each individual lead.  Our TigerTel Sales Team recognizes this, and adjusts their techniques accordingly. The newest member of our Sales team was kind enough to walk us through her philosophy on selling.

Josette Angers joined the TigerTel Sales team in early November. Based out of our Montreal office, Josette deals with both English and French customers. The majority of prospective customer calls come from our TigerTel website which means fast response and follow up are key to converting these leads into sales. Aside from that, a sales rep’s cold calling, prospecting, networking, and trade show attendance contribute to new business opportunities.  In order to convert these leads into sales, her goals must be set, and her selling tactics perfected.

It’s a Call Centre Community

You’ve heard us talk about TigerTel’s community before, that is because, like we’ve said before, community is a vital part of TigerTel’s success. Each branch has a community. Each region has a community. Most importantly TigerTel as a whole is a community. We take great pride in embracing our internal community, and our external communities. Every season the TigerTel branches decide which community programs they will participate in. This past year our most notable events included; The Oakville Charity Dragon Boat Races, Movember, Regional Food Bank Drives, and most recently the Vancouver Sun Run. These are just a few of the community events TigerTel participates in, while each individual branch participates in local initiatives year round as well.

The goal of every Sales Team is to sell the company they work for; they promote their company’s products or services to a selected target audience. This is no different for our TigerTel Sales Team; however, we like to sell more than just the companies’ services- we sell our people and quality too. It’s a packaged deal.

Within the Call Center industry there are plenty of companies out there that do what we do: inbound, outbound, telemarketing etc. That said, however, we like to think that we provide these services in a way that goes above and beyond our competitors. In fact, not only do we like to think our service is great, but we’ve received awards telling us so (CAM-X Award of Excellence Winner – 2011, Tom Ryan Award for Ethics, Integrity and Quality Above All Winner 2009)!
